Description
Kilo’s childhood is spent in the streets of East Los Angeles, cruising in low riders with his father, Manny. Starting off small, Kilo discovers the drug business to be very profitable. With a little help from Sabeva (Jennifer Tilly), the daughter of a Colombian gangster he goes from small time dealer to Kingpin running things internationally. Kilo’s life comes to a halt when he is turned in by a snitch and lands in prison. In jail he continues running his empire and enlists the help of other prisoners. While serving his time he is offered a deal of an early release if he murders a convicted child killer. This decision might prove crucial in his life, once a free man a judge and an Attorney General become suspicious of his early release and begin to investigate. In a world where a man had everything, he may end up with nothing.

La niñez de Kilo transcurre en las calles del este de Los Angeles junto a su padre Manny. Empezando de pequeño, Kilo descubre que el negocio de la droga es bastante rentable. Con la ayuda de Sabeva (Jennyfer Tilly), la hija de un gangster colombiano, el pasa a ser un narcotraficante con negocios internacionales. Su carrera se detiene cuando es delatado por un informante y termina en prisión. Estando ahí, se las arregla para continuar su imperio enlistando a un grupo de prisioneros. Mientras esta encerrado se le presenta la oportunidad de salir rapidamente a cambio de matar a un asesino de niños. Esta decisión se vuelve crucial en su vida pero una vez en libertad, un juez y un abogado sospechan de su temprana liberación y empiezan a investigar. En un mundo donde un hombre lo tiene todo, puede acabar quedándose sin nada.
